Application phase for KUMAS Leitprojekte (Official Flagship Project) begins
Since its foundation in 1998, KUMAS – Kompetenzzentrum Umwelt e. V. support association has been supporting environmental projects throughout Bavaria with its own environmental award, the ‘Official Flagship Project of the KUMAS UMWELTNETZWERK’ accolade. KUMAS e. V. uses this award to recognise innovative processes, products, services, facilities, developments or research findings that are particularly well-suited to demonstrating environmental excellence. The ‘Official Flagship Project of the KUMAS UMWELTNETZWERK’ award is presented annually. This year, too, up to three projects will be honoured. The independent jury’s assessment focuses on the innovative content, design quality, improved environmental characteristics, increased resource efficiency and active contribution to climate protection. The winning flagship projects receive significant media attention, are featured on the KUMAS UMWELTNETZWERKs website and are showcased for a year at trade fairs and at KUMAS’s own specialist conferences.
The deadline for applications and nominations is 31 August 2026!
